Moonseong (Bronson) Jeong has served as a teaching assistant in UCLA Computer Science since September 2023. His teaching spans introductory computer science, foundational machine learning, and the application of computational and statistical methods to human genetics.

CM124/224: Machine Learning Applications in Genetics

An interdisciplinary introduction to the computational analysis of genetic variation. The course covers genetic foundations, identification of genes involved in disease, human population history, technologies for obtaining genetic information, and genetic sequencing, with an emphasis on formulating biological questions as statistical and computational problems. CM124 is cross-listed with Human Genetics CM124 and concurrently scheduled with the graduate-level CM224 course.
